ROOTED IN LA VIRTUD

Honey with a Higher Purpose

Rooted in Central America. Powered by opportunity.

Our story begins in the high-altitude mountain forests of La Virtud, Honduras, where local beekeepers care for bees surrounded by coffee blossoms, citrus trees, and pine canopy.

Hola Honey was born out of a deep commitment to People Over Profit. We work directly with smallholder Honduran beekeeping families, providing fair wages, sustainable hive equipment, and re-investing profits into rural community education and bee habitat protection.

47.6% Nearly half of people in Honduras live on less than $8.30 a day. 7× We pay seven times Honduras’s agricultural hourly minimum wage.
